We held the second edition of Alianza Pro, our annual meeting with contractors, to acknowledge the responsible management of health & safety in our value chain, strengthen long-term strategic relationships and consolidate a shared vision towards an ever safer, more efficient and more sustainable operation.
The event brought together more than 110 representatives of local, national and international companies that are part of our value chain. During the event, we presented awards to 12 contractors that excelled in key categories such as occupational health & safety, regulatory compliance, participation in proactive observation programs and incident management. The standout companies were Consorcio T&S, Feel Consulting, Metalmec, Ciberc, Consorcio CIE, Comdisol, Nabors Drilling, Consultec, Applus, SERTECPET, Magnatesting, and Servicasinos Catering.
“At GeoPark we know that our value chain is key to ensuring safe, efficient and sustainable operations. We thank the hundreds of companies that every day show their commitment to maintaining the highest health & safety standards, ensuring that everyone returns home safely. We will continue to promote spaces for exchange and recognition to promote total alignment in our purpose of creating value for everyone and contributing to the well-being of people and sustainable development in the territories where we operate,” our Health & Safety Manager Carlos Gomez said.
One of the most inspiring moments of the meeting was the keynote speech by Bernardo Serna, president of Productos Ramo and a business leader and speaker, who reflected on resilience, leadership and the value of maintaining coherence and purpose in times of change.
Representatives of Nabors Drilling, Servicasinos, Distransllano and Carmon participated in a discussion on risk awareness, concluding that safety must be managed through planning and visible leadership, empowering teams to stop, think and act in the face of any risk. They also highlighted the importance of learning from mistakes, innovating to anticipate potential incidents and promoting a culture based on responsibility and collective commitment. The discussion shared experiences, lessons learned, and common challenges to continue strengthening a culture of shared security.
The second edition of Alianza Pro consolidates the event as a dialogue and cooperation platform that promotes transparency, compliance and sustainability in our operations in Colombia, underscoring the Company’s commitment to local development and operational excellence.
