Working together with ONGC Videsh to promote road safety in the communities neighboring the CPO-5 block, GeoPark held a training activity to teach motorcyclists techniques and strategies to prevent accidents and minimize risks on the road. The training was part of the companies’ “I Bet on Road Safety” program that aims to encourage and promote safe road behavior and help prevent traffic incidents.
More than 38 people participated in the training, which was held at the San Nicolas sports center in Cabuyaro. Over eight hours, it focused on the importance of the proper use of safety elements, safe motorcycle driving practices, and considering other road users. Underscoring the importance of promoting the well-being of their neighboring communities, the Health & Safety and Social areas of both companies joined forces to offer the training.
